This award-winning garden by Simonson Landscape offers a message of hope for the landscapes of the 21st century, addressing the challenges posed by climate change and environmental degradation.

Simonson Landscape has been honored at the International Garden Festival twice, winning the design award in 2024 for the creation of Le Jardin des Murmures. These accolades highlight our dedication to creating innovative and ecologically sustainable gardens that inspire both thought and action.

A Vision of Resilience and Rebirth

In Le Jardin des Émergences, the earth, mistreated by human activity, begins to crumble and mineralize, with large slabs of schist and slate forming on the surface. But nature, in its relentless quest for survival, breaks through this hardened crust, erupting towards the light. The garden evokes the remarkable resilience of plants as they reclaim the land, their shapes and colors symbolizing rupture, explosion, and the dynamic forces of the Earth.

The drought-resistant yuccas are among the garden's heroes, breaking through the mineralized earth and making space for herbaceous plants, perennials, and annuals that thrive in warmer, drier climates. The contrasts between the dark minerals and the luminous greens, oranges, and yellows of the plantings evoke fire and vitality, offering a powerful image of nature's rebirth in a landscape altered by changing climate.
