Landscaped Park of the IDEC Campus in Blois

A landscape Designed to Promote Biodiversity

The park of the new IDEC real estate group headquarters is inspired by the landscape context of the Loire Valley in order to inscribe the project in its territory.

The overall composition is designed according to the guidelines of the site, its topography, its built, wooded or open edges, as well as in relation to the architectural project itself, which respects the local architecture. The technical constraints linked to the infrastructures and networks, the hydraulic needs partly covered by the storage of runoff water, allowed the definition of the landscaping of the plot while underlining the primary vocation of the site: a multifunctional site (offices, company restaurant, crèche, fitness center) welcoming a large public.

The landscape project is inspired by the moving and living landscapes of the Loire Valley, to create a natural landscape intended to enrich the biodiversity of the site. Reflecting the diversity of these landscapes, the park is composed of multiple ecosystems: a water body - in the center of the site, islands, wet and dry meadows, a dry grassland, sandbanks, and an alluvial forest. To encourage local biodiversity, the garden is a transposition of native ecotones.

And you? How do you imagine your park?
